Lokal First is a Philippines-based MSME affiliate marketplace that connects local brands with passionate brand champions. We empower micro, small, and medium enterprises to grow their reach while providing affiliates with earning opportunities through authentic product promotion.
Who can join Lokal First?
Lokal First welcomes two types of members:
- MSMEs:Â Philippine-registered businesses with authentic local products
- Brand Champions:Â Anyone 18+ with a passion for promoting Filipino brands
Is it free to join?
Yes! Registration is completely free for both MSMEs and brand champions. We only take a small commission on successful sales to sustain the platform and continue supporting the Filipino business community.
For MSMEs
How do I sign up as a brand?
Signing up is simple! Click “For MSMEs” in the navigation, then “Register Your Brand.” You’ll need to:
- Complete the business information form
- Upload required documents (see next FAQ)
- Set up your product catalog
- Wait 2-3 business days for approval
What documents are needed to register?
To verify your business, please prepare:
- DTI or SEC registration certificate
- Business permit (Mayor’s permit)
- Valid government ID of business owner
- Product photos and descriptions
How are commissions structured?
You set your own commission rates for brand champions (typically 10-20%). Lokal First takes a 5% platform fee on completed transactions. You receive payouts every two weeks for all confirmed orders, with transparent tracking available in your dashboard.
For Brand Champions
How do I earn commissions?
Earn commissions by sharing your unique affiliate links for products you love. When someone purchases through your link, you receive a percentage of the sale. Commissions are tracked in real-time and paid out bi-weekly once you reach the minimum threshold.
What promotion rules apply?
To maintain trust and quality:
- Only promote products you genuinely recommend
- Disclose your affiliate relationship clearly
- No spamming or misleading claims
- Respect brand guidelines and community standards
How can I track my sales?
Your dashboard provides real-time tracking of clicks, conversions, and earnings. View detailed analytics by product, time period, and traffic source. Download reports anytime and receive notifications for completed sales and upcoming payouts.
Safety & Community
What are the community guidelines?
Our community guidelines promote respect, authenticity, and ethical business practices. We prohibit harassment, false advertising, counterfeit goods, and any discriminatory behavior. All members must conduct business transparently and treat each other with professionalism and dignity.
How do I report violations?
Click the “Report” button on any listing or profile, or contact our Trust & Safety team directly through the Help Center. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Your identity remains confidential, and we take swift action against confirmed violations.
What protections exist for women-led businesses?
Lokal First champions women entrepreneurs with dedicated support programs, mentorship opportunities, and zero-tolerance policies for harassment or discrimination. We provide priority assistance, feature spotlights, and a safe environment for all business owners to thrive.
Payments & Payouts
What is the payout schedule?
Payouts are processed bi-weekly, on the 1st and 15th of each month. Orders are confirmed after a 7-day return window, then included in the next payout cycle. Payments are sent via bank transfer, GCash, or PayMaya to your verified account.
What is the minimum payout amount?
The minimum payout threshold is ₱500 for brand champions and ₱1,000 for MSMEs. If your balance is below the threshold, it will roll over to the next payout period. You can view your current balance anytime in your dashboard.
